The Divas and Princesses store is a special place for girls to sparkle and
shine with all the glittery glamour of a Stylin' Makeover!
When you walk into this beautifully colorful store, you feel like you've just
arrived in a Fantasy Castle. The front of the store sells all types of trinkets,
makeup, and fun accessories for girls 4 and up! Towards the center of the
store, girls enter the Royal Chamber Makeover Station, where she receives
the Diva or Princess full pampering treatment, including hairstyling, makeup,
nails polished and cool jewelry and accessories.
Divas and Princesses was formed by a mother and her 12 year old
daughter, who were looking for a way to combine work, play and family all in
one! Like many mothers today, Wendy Nolan, struggled with the demands
of juggling a full time career which required extensive nationwide traveling
with the demands of being a full-time Mom and housewife. After careful
thought and focus, she was determined to find a career that would combine
the best of both worlds--being able to work WITH her daughter!
Wendy and daughter, Tara, came up with the unique store and party
concept based on the fantasy and dress-up games they both spent hours
playing during Tara's childhood days.
The mother-daughter team designed the store and the concept, not only to
fulfill their own special time together, but, to share the joy of imagination to
other girls in the 4 to 14 age group.
Divas and Princesses, Inc., (the name which was actually coined by Tara's
Dad) is a resulting product of love, imagination, fantasy, joy and creativity.
All who work at the store are selected for their vibrant and enthusiastic
personalities and are referred to as "Royal Maiden Imagineers." The
Imagineers' primary responsibility is to make our special little customers feel
like a Princess or a Diva for the day. After all, our goal and tagline is
"turning Fantasy into Reality!"
